Auction Terms & Conditions Auction Terms & Conditions If paying with credit card, a 4.0% convenience fee will be charged to buyer. This is an on-line only auction. Lots will close at a rate of one every 20 seconds with a soft close, meaning if anyone places a bid on a lot within the two minute prior to the lot closing the bidding is extended an additional two minutes. All items are sold “AS IS” and all sales are final. No returns, refunds, credits or adjustments for any reason. By registering for this auction and/or bidding you acknowledge having read and accepted the terms and conditions of this auction. Bob’s Auction Service, Inc. accepts cash, good checks, wire transfers, certified checks, Master Card, Visa or Discover Credit Cards (4% convenience fee for using credit/debit cards). Maximum allowable charge on credit cards is $2,500 unless pre-approved. Credit cards are not accepted for titled vehicles. Sales tax applies unless Bob’s Auction Service is provided with a Wisconsin sales tax exemption form. If buyer does not contact Bob’s Auction Service within 72 hours of the auction close start time, the credit card on file will be charged. If a buyer fails to pay in full for an item the buyer may be black listed and not allowed to participate in any Bob’s Auction Service, Inc.. auction and reported to other HiBid auction companies as a non-paying bidder. All items must be picked up at the designated pickup times, no exceptions unless prior arrangements are made. If they are not picked up at the designated pickup times the items are considered abandoned and become the property of the Auction Company or seller. The buyer is still responsible for full payment, no refunds will be given. Shipping is not available for all auctions. If not specified that shipping is available check with Bob’s Auction Service, Inc. When available, Items are available for public inspection prior to the auction. Bob's Auction Service Inc. will attempt to describe the merchandise but makes no representations. Each lot is sold with all faults and defects therein. All sales are final. Bob's Auction Service, Inc. will neither be held responsible for accidents, errors or omissions. No credit or adjustment will be allowed in any form or amount. In no event shall Bob's Auction Service, Inc. be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Bidder shall be the sole judge of value. Bidders who do not attend an inspection (or bid from off site during a live/online auction) understand and acknowledge that they may not be able to inspect an item as well as if they examined it in person. It is the bidder’s responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinative factor. Questions are encouraged from buyers prior to bidding. Auction company employees and/or the auction company may bid on auction items. Should a dispute arise between Bob's Auction Service, Inc. and bidder, Bidder waives any right to a trial or hearing in a court of law and agrees to settle the dispute through arbitration in Dodge County, Wisconsin. All arbitration fees will be split equally between both parties. Bidder further agrees that under no circumstances will he/she initiate a charge back on his/her credit card. Bidder agrees that everything is sold as is and that they may not return any item they purchase. Bob's Auction Service, Inc. is using HiBid online bidding services. Bidder acknowledges and understands that this service may or may not function correctly the day of auction. Under no circumstances shall bidder have any kind of claim against Bob's Auction Service, Inc.., the seller, or anyone else if the internet service fails to work correctly before or during the auction. Bob's Auction Service, Inc. reserves the right to pause, delay, or restart bidding at any time. Bob's Auction Service, Inc. will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. Hi-Bid accepts the bids, but auctioneer determines the winning bidder. Bob’s Auction Service will partner with an independent 3rd party to ship within the 48 contiguous states. No shipping to AK, HI, FPO/APO or International without prior approval from shipping company. Bob’s Auction Service, Inc. must be paid for all items before being shipped. All packaging, insurance, shipping expense & payment, unforseen shipping issues, etc will be between the shipper and the buyer. Typical charges for shipping are $10 for the first lot and $4 for each additional lot plus actual shipping expense. Large orders may be subject to a $10 per box fee. All shipping and insurance expenses are to be paid for by the buyer. If you bid on and win an item and shipping is not offered you are still responsible for paying for the item(s).
